The Rules of Conduct

  1. Be kind. While it’s encouraged to have open and frank discussions, it doesn’t include personal attacks or any other kind of poor conduct.
  1. Assume it’s on the record. While much of our work will be done in private settings, it’s safest to presume that what you write/chat/talk about might be public. If something must stay off the record, please make it abundantly clear to everyone involved.
  1. Name-drop with explicit permission. Given the nature of this topic, many of us may share information that we’d rather you not publicly attribute to us. If you would like to reference something discussed within the group (with attribution), please seek explicit permission from the person (or the group for broader discussion points).
  1. No pitching of any kind. Many of us represent vendors, but that doesn’t mean this is where you source new customers (or employees) for your company. Making money, achieving quota, etc., is not what this group is about.
